The Westchester Lariats is a nonprofit international youth dance troupe located in the Los Angeles community of Westchester.

Our 1st-3rd grade class focuses on building foundational skills and teaching simpler folk dances and line dances. The Junior Lariats classes (4th-6th grade) begin learning some of the standard Lariats repertoire as they prepare to perform. 7th-12th grade dancers are in our performing troupe. This group learns traditional folk dances from around the world (Russia, Israel, Mexico, Colombia, Ireland, and more), American square dances, "era" dances (like swing, Charleston, and 50s), traditional hula, and Bollywood, and we are constantly adding new dances and genres to our repertoire.

The Lariats perform throughout the Los Angeles community and have toured and performed internationally during our annual Summer Tours.
