Performing Lariats

The name, Westchester Lariats, refers to
the performing group of dancers. They meet Monday evenings from 6:30-9:00 pm in the
Westchester United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall. To join this
group, a dancer must first take the afternoon dance classes (see
“Dance Classes”) for one year and be 10 years of age or in the 5th
grade or older. Exceptions to this policy can be made in special
circumstances.
Monday evening rehearsals begin the week after Labor Day in
September and continue throughout the school year ending in May.
There are numerous performances (see “Shows”) during the year
including the culminating Spring Show, which is the Lariats’ annual
event to showcase the new dances and skills they’ve worked on during
the year.
If you are curious about the Lariats, we welcome you to come and
observe any of our Monday evening rehearsals.
